R.I.P. Thick Shoe 2003-2008
That's right, foks. Thick Shoe "called it a day" on April 28, 2008 due to conflicts with scheduling of personnel and lack of interest on the part of clubs to book the band. We appreciatre all of you that supported Thick Shoe and were "True to the Shoe" as Jason put it. I was fortunate enough to play with TS for 2 years with some great guys for some great people. Sad

May 3, 2008:
The Chippewa Valley Blues Society, formed in September 2007 is growing &
bigger ideas forming. Something tells me I'm into something good!

May 3, 2008:
We played Woo's Pagoda last night for the first time in months. We had a great time and thanks all our "repeat offenders" and a few new ones we met.

May 3, 2008:
Tonight is our first show at Oakwood Bar & Grill, South of town on Hwy 37 (the old Club 37). I've heard alot of good things about the club as well as Corey and his staff. Hope to see you there.

May the rest of `08 bring us all peace, love & prosperity (despite of the lousy economony and ever-rising prices of EVERYTHING).
